“Application of Digital Agriculture Technology for Cotton Plantation and Management in Xinjiang”
Caicong Wu，Ph.D., Associate Professor, College of Information and Electrical Engineering, China Agricultural University. His research interests include big data of agricultural machinery and autonomous operation of in-field agricultural machinery. He got his Ph.D. degree from Jilin University in 2003, and his major was Agricultural Mechanization Engineering. He entered Peking University for his postdoctoral research from 2003 to 2005 and became a faculty of Institute of Remote Sensing and GIS of Peking University in 2005. He moved to China Agricultural University in December, 2012. During 2014, he entered Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Texas A&M University as a visiting scholar. He published more than 60 articles, a textbook of Navigation and Positioning Theory and Its Application in Agriculture, and a monograph of BeiDou Application in Agricultural Production.
