Dr. Christos Vlachokostas is a member of the Laboratory and Teaching Staff of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Aristotle University Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece. He graduated from the School of Engineering (AUTH), with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, where he also continued his studies to hold a MSc in Industrial Management and Engineering. In 2009, he received his PhD which was awarded with the Environmental Sensitivity Prize “OIKOPOLIS 2009” from the Hellenic non-profit environmental organization “ECOCITY”. He is a group leader at the Laboratory of Heat Transfer and Environmental Engineering (LHTEE), where he has been involved in numerous EU research projects dealing with Circular Economy and Environmental Management. He was also a visiting Professor in the International Hellenic University (MSc Environmental Management and Sustainability. Dr Vlachokostas is the author of more than 120 scientific publications, with a Scopus h-index of 21.
