Emilio Gil is Full Professor at Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Department of Agri-Food Engineering and Biotechnology) and director of the research group of Agricultural Mechanization. Professor at PhD program in agriculture and forestry at the University of Turin, (Italy). Prof. Gil coordinates H2020 INNOSETA project. He has been advisor to different national and international research bodies and institutes, as well as to the Ministry of Agriculture in the preparation of the Royal Decree on the Sustainable Use of Pesticides. Professor at Cornell University (2005-2006), expert at ISO committees, member of EIP-FOCUS group on Precision Farming. Author of more than 60 scientific articles, more than 200 technical articles, 6 books and several national and international awards. Member of the Royal European Academy of Doctors.
